Well Nearly!! This Was Once a Local Sand Quarry.
Now 2003, Houses on The Land, Water Still There. NO Blackpool Beach Scenes Like This Though.
Cheshire Was Once An Inland Sea.
Further Towards The Existing Sea Are The Salt Mines of Sandbach, Windsford and The "Wiches"
Nantwich, Middlewich and Northwich.
The Salt Deposits were created By Evaporation and Mined Since The Romans Were Ruling The Roost
in Great Britain.
The Picture was Taken from the Banky Fields Side of What is Now Called Astbury Mere.
